Jupiter home of MLB Hall of Famer Johnny Bench asks $4M!

Formerly owned by another ex-MLB player

It’s a hall-of-fame day for Florida real estate.

Not long after Chris Evert listed her Boca Raton mansion, Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench, who starred with the Cincinnatti Reds from 1967 to 1983, put his five-bedroom home in Jupiter on the market with a $4 million tag, per Realtor.

And he’s not the only former baseball pro to have lived there, purchasing the home from retired pitcher Matt Morris in 2013 for $3.3 million.

The Mediterranean home was built in 2003 and resides in Sawfish Bay Colony. It features an ivy-covered “carriage entrance,” brick driveway, coffered ceilings, custom woodwork, gym, and a wine cellar.

Located just off the Loxahatchee River, the residence is further highlighted by 100 feet of water frontage.
